EXPERIENCE A TASTE OF MEXICO IN THE HEART OF SPINNINGFIELDS
A bold new addition to Manchester’s dining scene is set to open its doors in Spinningfields this Easter Bank Holiday. OCASA, a Mexican-inspired restaurant and bar, officially launches on Good Friday, 18 April, bringing with it a fresh, vibrant take on modern Mexican cuisine.
Located on The Avenue, directly opposite Dear Sailor and occupying the former site of Sunset by Australasia, OCASA draws inspiration from the laid-back beach vibes of Tulum and the energetic street food culture of Mexico City.
OCASA’s interiors channel rustic charm with a coastal twist – think textured rock walls, earthy terracotta tones and jade green accents. The venue boasts a spacious 80-seat outdoor terrace, complete with two exclusive Bed Booths for private group dining, destined to be a popular spot as the warmer months roll in.
The bar is set to impress with one of the UK’s most extensive selections of premium agave spirits, including rare small-batch tequilas and a creative cocktail menu designed to showcase the spirit’s rich diversity.
Once open, guests can also look forward to Taco Tuesdays – featuring £6 speciality tacos and £6 margaritas – as well as mariachi bands, Latin DJs and more.
