International Sushi Day officially falls on 18 June. But Sticks’n’Sushi decided one day was not enough.
Celebrate International Sushi Day with Sticks’n’Sushi all of June in their restaurants in London, Cambridge, Oxford and Manchester. Serving limited-edition specials inspired by contrast, craftsmanship and the good things that happen when different cultures meet around one table.
For this yearโs International Sushi Month specials, the chefs have created a set of aburi nigiri, accompanied by a hojicha cocktail. Available throughout June only.
ABURI SETTO
- Maguro Aburi.ย Seared soy cured tuna, garlic butter, tsume, Parmesan & truffle dust.
- Shake Aburi.ย Seared salmon, miso aioli, marinated ikura & daikon cress.
- Abokado Aburi.ย Seared avocado, Royal Beluski Exmoor Caviar.
- Hiramasa Aburi.ย Seared hiramasa, yuzukosho, shiso leaf, tsume & tosazu gel.
- Wagyu Aburi.ย Seared Japanese Wagyu, Parmesan, shiitake & soya sesame rice korokke, miso aรฏoli, tsume & kizami wasabi.

HOJICHA YUME
For International Sushi Month, Head of Bars, Vicky, created Hojicha Yume โ a cocktail blending raspberry, hojicha and Suntory Haku Vodka, which is made from rice and exclusively for this yearโs celebration.
