We’re delighted to announce the arrival of ATOMECA Wine Bar, a fantastic new addition to Spinningfields. Now open on The Avenue, this venue offers a mix of small plates, an extensive wine selection and cocktails inspired by both the UK and Continental Europe.

Founded by the acclaimed trio of James Brandwood and brothers Joe and Daniel Schofield, the team behind the award-winning Schofield’s Bar, ATOMECA aims to provide an inviting atmosphere for all guests. Having been recently recognised as one of the ‘happiest places to work’, the Schofield team is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality at their new venue.

Building on the success of the original ATOMECA, which opened on Deansgate Square in 2021, their brand new drinkery will place an even greater emphasis on wine and food. As Joe Schofield notes, “Our Deansgate Square location evolved organically in line with what our guests and residents needed, becoming an extension of their homes. With this second site, we’ll focus more on wine and food, offering guests a place to drop in for a glass of wine or cocktail on the way home or join us for a meal to sample some of the best European-inspired dishes and drinks.”

ATOMECA’s wine selection has been carefully curated by Brandwood, featuring an array of wines sourced from Provence, France. Additionally, the venue will serve a specially crafted ATOMECA pale ale, produced in collaboration with Manchester’s own Track Brewery. The menu will include a variety of snacks, sandwiches, homemade pasta and small plates, making it the perfect spot for a glass (or bottle) of wine and a bite to eat.

Recognised as one of the top 50 cocktail bars in the UK and ranked among the world’s top 100, the Schofield’s team brings a wealth of expertise and acclaim to this exciting new venture. ATOMECA Wine Bar is set to become a must-visit destination.
