DISCOVER WHAT’S ON AT THE SPINNINGFIELDS FANZONE
We are thrilled to announce that Spinningfields will be an official fanzone for the 2024 Olympics! We will be screening all of the exciting events of the Paris 2024 games on a massive 13-foot screen at The Lawn Club in Hardman Square, including the much-anticipated opening and closing ceremonies.
For an extra layer of excitement, we will be hosting two weeks of exciting activities and immersive experiences across the Spinningfields estate, in partnership with Team GB’s partners NatWest, GetPro, and Aldi. These activities will be open to everyone and completely FREE to take part. What’s more? There will also be two athlete appearances who will be doing a talk on their Olympic experiences and a chance for audiences to engage in an exciting Q&A session – keep reading for more details!
WHAT’S ON: Friday 26 July to Saturday 11 August
Table Tennis Throwdown:
Guests are invited to participate in an exciting game of table tennis in Spinningfields. The table, bats, and balls will all showcase the Team GB x TTE branding, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

NatWest VR Experience:
NatWest are sponsoring the Team GB fanzone and aim to engage fans with their immersive and motivating virtual Team Talk Tunnel where users will be able to send messages of support directly to the athletes in Team GB’s house in Paris, and win prizes. NatWest customers can also collect FREE official Team GB merchandise.

Aldi Cycling Smoothie Race:
Supermarket leader Aldi puts people power to the test, inviting three participants to race against each other on mounted bikes. For the duration of the activation there will be 2x exercise bikes and 1x hand crank bike that are connected to a medal wall. As users peddle, an LED progress bar will be on the medal wall. Whoever fills their bar up first will win the gold medal.
Alongside this, winners can get their hands on a FREE smoothie from trained brand ambassadors of Team GB.

Danone’s GetPRO – Enjoy freebies:
Who doesn’t love a freebie? During the Olympics, Danone’s GetPRO will be offering samples of their performance protein drinks and yoghurts. You can enjoy a variety of delicious products, including caramel pudding, chocolate hazelnut pudding, vanilla yoghurt, chocolate caramel mousse, and chocolate mousse.

Athlete Appearances:
For an extra layer of excitement, renowned athletes Sally Walton and Bianca Cook will be making special appearances at The Lawn Club, sharing their Olympic experiences and to engage in an exciting Q&A session for all those who attend.

Sally Walton
Sally Walton made her international debut in 2005 and has amassed more than 100 caps for England and Great Britain combined. As part of the opening ceremony launch, Sally will also be doing an hour-long meet and greet, providing guests with a chance to ask questions about her incredible journey as a professional athlete.

Bianca Cook
Bianca Cook, a British taekwondo athlete and Olympian, is a three-time world champion and double Olympic medalist. As an outstanding role model, she inspires many with her dedication and achievements. Bianca will be hosting a meet and greet at The Lawn Club, providing guests with the opportunity to ask questions and learn about her exciting journey as a professional athlete.
